Adventure Dispensary Package Design

I was asked to create three new package designs for a dispensary who just came out with a new line of edibles. The client asked for illustrations based on national parks located in California, with a color scheme that matched the type and flovor of cannabis infused in each bag.

I created vector illustrations in Adobe Illustrator loosely based on Lassen National Park, Joshua Tree, and Yosemite. To depict the line of Indica dominant edibles, I used a darker blue and purple color pallet to reflect the calming side effects of the blueberry edible. For the hybrid edibles, I studied color theory and settled upon a more orange color scheme to reflect the more creative effects of the pear flavor. Finally for the sativa dominant edibles, I depicted a bright green environment to reflect the more uplifting effects of the apple flavor.
